The Conflict Resolution Skills for Teachers consists of the following modules:

MODULE ONE: IDENTIFYING AND MAPPING CONFLICT

In this module we will discuss the core elements of conflict and show how to analyse any conflict.

MODULE TWO: RAISING AWARENESS

In this module you will be asked to do some exercise that will help you to raise your awareness so you will be better equipped to resolve conflict.

MODULE THREE: THE DYNAMICS OF PEOPLE IN CONFLICT

In this module we will dive further into the behaviour and ways of thinking of people in conflict. 

MODULE FOUR: THE DIFFERENT CONFLICT STYLES

In this module we will look into the different styles to deal with conflict and the pros and cons of these styles.

MODULE FIVE: BUILDING RAPPORT

This module is all about finding a way to connect with people to bridge the divide in conflict situations.

MODULE SIX: THE ART OF LISTENING

In this module we talk about listening and provide some tools how to truly listen to what others are telling us. 

MODULE SEVEN: SHOWING EMPATHY

In this module we will discuss what the term ‘empathy’ entails and how it differs from sympathy and why it is so important in resolving conflicts.

MODULE EIGHT: MASTERING HIGH EMOTIONS (OWN AND OTHERS)

In this module we explore the fact that we humans are emotional beings and how we can learn to better master our own emotions and deal with other emotions with.

MODULE NINE: THINKING CREATIVELY

In this module we will talk about how to use creative thinking as a way to resolve conflict.

MODULE TEN: SPEAKING UP ASSERTIVELY

In this module we will share and demonstrate ways to speak up in a way that others can hear you and respect your needs.

MODULE ELEVEN: SUMMARY

This last module is a summary of the entire course to be sure that you are all set up and confident to resolve any future conflict.
